What I do

Financial planning.
Business decisions.
Less manual work.

Ongoing FP&A support or a focused build. We start with the question your numbers need to answer and agree the work around it.

Build the missing
piece first.

For a reporting foundation, a forecast rebuild, or a specific decision that needs a defensible model.

  • One defined problem and written deliverables
  • Source inputs, assumptions, and calculations
  • A recommendation and practical handoff
  • The models and procedures you keep

$3,000–$6,000 / projectFixed-fee band · planned timeline: 3–5 weeks

Final scope, price, and dates depend on the question, data readiness, and systems. Ongoing support is optional.

What the work looks like

A usable answer,
with the work behind it.

These are possible deliverables, chosen for your engagement. They are not a promise that every item fits into every fee.

Reporting & performance

What changed this month?

P&L and KPI pack, variance analysis, a written interpretation, and actions for the next review.

You keep: the pack, source references, metric definitions, and refresh procedure.

Forecasts & scenarios

What happens if we change the plan?

Driver-based forecasts, budgets, hiring plans, or pricing scenarios. Cash timing can be scoped as a separate build where the inputs support it.

You keep: the model, assumptions, sensitivities, and update instructions.

Decision analysis

Should we invest in this?

Customer or product economics, an investment case, a headcount decision, or an executive presentation with a clear recommendation.

You keep: the reasoning, supporting calculations, and decision record.

Workflow improvement

Why do we rebuild this every month?

Standardized inputs, reusable calculations, report preparation, and a finance folder that retains the business context.

You keep: documented workflows and the agreed automation configuration.

Before we scope the work.

Do I need a project before a retainer?

Only if the foundation needs it. If you already have reliable reporting and usable models, we can begin with ongoing support. If the inputs or methods are inconsistent, we agree the setup work first.

Can you work with our current systems?

I assess the source data, exports, and access before agreeing the scope. My experience includes Oracle EPM, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, Salesforce, and Excel. I work alongside your bookkeeper or accountant; I do not offer QuickBooks, Xero, or payroll administration.

What determines the fee?

The decision, deliverables, data readiness, and system complexity. Projects have a fixed fee and agreed dates. Retainers have a monthly fee with defined capacity and priorities. A material scope change is discussed before extra work begins.

What sits outside this service?

Bookkeeping, tax, audit, payroll, fundraising, and investor introductions. I provide financial planning and analysis alongside the professionals responsible for those areas.

What happens if we stop working together?

You retain the agreed models, outputs, and documented procedures. Handoff covers how to use them and who will maintain them. Connected tools, subscriptions, source access, and scheduled jobs still need an owner. Ending the engagement follows the written agreement.
